I've been happily running SPORE 1.00 without the river glitch on a patched 1.1.4 wine version until I decided to update to 1.01. No registry changes have been made. Now, it does not really matter whether I'm running a patched 1.1.4 or a clean 1.1.5, the landscape has rivers all over it. Also I'm unable to use medium settings, which was previously possible.
