Have you experienced the original issue to be sure it was fixed? What do you mean saying "experienced the original issue"? Lip synch is normal, performance is also normal. Any issue(s) else?
It could've been fixed by a driver update, perhaps you have a card that's not affected, or something else. You'll want to test against an older wine version and make sure your system can reproduce the issue.
