This is a wrong way to check last error, it's only consistent when function
returns INVALID_SET_FILE_POINTER. But if it works fine on Windows, then sure,
it's a bug. Please get a WINEDEBUG=+file,+tid,+relay log running this
application, if you don't know how to do it it's described here

attach it here, if it's too large, compress it first.
