The download is really version 3. Easy wizard mode works just fine (vhstodvd.exe) but advanced mode crashes.
The crash in advanced mode seems to be same bug as bug 39209. I made a patch based on Focht`s analysis there, but i dont know if its correct; with the patch the crash in advanced mode is gone and the app starts fine.
