http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=21017 Flu <falu894@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |falu894@gmail.com --- Comment #41 from Flu <falu894@gmail.com> --- I Finally got Adobe Premiere Pro C24 to work after many hours of testing in Bottles. I highly encourage using Bottles in this, (I did since I'm not very tech savvy especially when it comes to manual Wine configurations) but you should be able to set everything up in just Wine as well. Please follow this YouTube video tutorial first: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5BYRUoLUwQ Just as a brief summary of the YouTube Video: - set up new Bottle using Wine v 11.0 (with preferences set as 'Application') - Once the Bottle is created, in the Bottle settings, change the Windows Version to Windows 8. - Select 'Browse Files' and under drive-c/Windows/System32 add the gdiplus.dll, msxml3.dll, and msxml3r.dll to the directory. Overwrite when prompted. - Now go to drive-c/Program Files in your Bottle Files. Create a new folder named 'Adobe' and paste the Premier Pro C24 in the directory. - now exit the files of the Bottle, and go into your Bottle -> Legacy Wine Tools -> Configuration -> Libraries and add an override for 'msxml3.' - Exit the configuration Window - Download the nvidia libs here and follow the installation instructions: https://github.com/SveSop/nvidia-libs - run the ./bottles_setup.sh script in the nvidia-libs directory and add the name of your Bottle (ex. ./bottles_setup.sh AdobePremierPro) - You do not need to install the experimental version of nvapi - Once the script is complete, go back to your Bottle -> Settings and enable Discrete Graphics. Make sure Deep Learning Super Sampling is turned off and FidelityFX Super Resolution is turned off. - Now you can start with my spin off of this tutorial: First, make sure all Bottle processes have stopped - select the power button at the top of your bottle -> Force Stop All Processes. Now under your Bottle dependencies install: - all fonts - msxml3 - vcredist2015 Once these have finished installing, go back into your Legacy Wine Tools -> Configuration -> Libraries and REMOVE the msxml3 override you added in the YouTube tutorial. Once it is removed start AdobePremierPro in the Bottle and immediately shut it off. Once again Force Stop All Processes. Now you have to go back into Legacy Wine Tools -> Configuration -> Libraries and RE-ADD the msxml3 override. Hit apply and ok. After this PremierPro should open! If not, try going back into the c-drive and copy over the original msxml3.dll file over again. Overwrite when it prompts you. This is all I found to work so far, but I will try to respond with more info if this still prompts you with an error! -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
