[Bug 22572] Managed C++ assemblies don't work in Wine + Mono

Yes. I'm working on it (slowly).

I have something that seems to work, and I think what remains is to add test
cases and go back and implement it cleanly, and get it accepted into Mono. I
can post what I have as a diff if anyone is interested.
