I cannot reproduce the crash with your provided version of edcast with
wine-1.3.21-254-g5bf7622, and I do see an ALSA device listed in the live
recording device listing. As I said before, you may want to specify a working
Wine audio backend in winecfg, as there is no PulseAudio backend in Wine
proper.
