Resolved the issue with the DEMO version of easyHDR:
$ WINEDLLOVERRIDES=vcomp110=n wine ./easyHDR3.exe

But using the licensed version easyHDR3.13.0 (release date 4.2019) showed up
another issue, this time with the included Exiftool.
The startup logo/credits kept focus forever preventing the use of easyHDR.
This might not be related to Wine.

Using the older version
(https://www.easyhdr.com/download/exiftool/exiftool-10.09.zip) made easyHDR
fully operational under Wine.
