Wintermuted: can you give the latest Wine development version a try? Currently 1.5.6, http://www.winehq.org/announce/1.5.6
Just wanted to confirm this bug. I'm using Gentoo x86_64 and have it set to accept all new wine releases when I update. I've experienced this bug with every version of wine since approx 1.4.1, whatever version of Wine was available roughly 4 months ago. Currently on 1.5.8 and the problem persists. You can Enable Hardware Vertex Shaders after the game is running, and it will continue to run AND you will get the better graphic effects / reflections whatever the vertex shaders allow. But if you have them Enabled when launching the game, all character models are just invisible with floating names and an occasional weapon or armor piece showing. Every time I update wine I reset VertexShaders=TRUE in eqclient.ini and check again. I'm using an Nvidia GTX 460 and I keep those drivers up to date as well, not sure if ATI users have this problem. I haven't tried the modified DLL method. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
