Kwin must be used to terminate the program following a "window fails to respond" warning. The problem is in libwine, downgrading libwine to a version lower than 0.9.42 (all else same) solves the problem. I have tested using libwine 0.9.42, 43 and 44. I cannot test higher than 0.9.44 as that is the highest Debian package currently available and I am never successful trying to compile from source. Debug log file is attached.
