Can you please post a console log when the problem occurs?

Afterwards, please run "winecfg", go to "Desktop Integration", "Theme" and
select "(No Theme)"
For me this helped. This is AFAIK not an issue with wine-7.4, but with the
theme. For some reason the theme gets automatically set with newer wine
version, very annoying.
