Well that seemed to work... I updated back to 1.3.23 and ripped a disc. What do I do with the info in the old .wine directory (now .wine~)? I assume it has some importance?
If you do not miss anything, then you can delete the old one. It's the same like reinstaling a PC. Sometime you want to backup important documents and sometime you do not care and format immediatelly and install a fresh OS.
