The launcher only lists 4:3 resolutions.

But you can choose any resolution you want via the advanced options. There is
an option to enter a custom launch command.

Just enter in there:

++screenwidth "1920" ++screenheight "1080" ++screendepth "32"

Now choose any 32bit resolution you want in the display tab and you get Full HD
regardless of what you've chosen (you just have to select a 32bit resolution to
get it to work with better textures).
