FYI I tested wine 1.6.1 under Unbuntu i686 SMP 3.2.0-072-generic-PAE #107
machine using same steps with particular caution during install. I tried
numerous combination (NT, 7, XP default) but they all fail to the same point.

It's a shame since I'm able to play VST Instruments on multi tracks and even
save the song file. Only Audio related attempt with file dialog box fail.
