http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=16986 --- Comment #5 from Holly <holly.n.schilling(a)gmail.com> 2009-08-11 11:13:23 --- As of yesterday, it works almost perfect. I did a clean installation on Ubuntu 8.04. Only packages I installed other than the base install were the current (unstable) Wine 1.1.27 and Ubuntu-restricted-extras. I say almost perfect because there was a minor issue installing the Gecko HTML engine. For reasons I did not dig into, it would not install automatically while the installer was running. I instead went to Bash and executed "wine iexplore" and it loaded easily. I then restarted the installation and it went flawless from there on. Between this and my testing earlier, I believe this is a "first-run" issue more than anything else. When I did regression testing, I was unable to replicate the problem after the first time it worked. Even after deleting everything from the ~/.wine/drive_c folder that was related to WoW. My view would be to mark this resolved, but keep this thread here so that if it is a first-run bug, others can see to just install the Gecko HTML engine manually by running "wine iexplore" from Bash. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugs.winehq.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are watching all bug changes.
