Congratulation Berillions. I spent some time with this bug on Sunday, but failed.
That "/dev/null & -all" is intereting, because there was't so much output, mostly generated by the game not wine.
From my testing i had a feeling that it comes from networking, because it failed in the same thread, few lines above fail to connect to some sandbox.
I know one thing too. In clean wineprefix, the Autopatcher does not works. I mean, the Autopatcher itself works but not the update, it's impossible to download the patch, there is a message told you that you don't connect to Internet.
