Well, maybe you use a different version. I'm using "Vortex-1-0-17-11-1554901229.exe" which is based on electron. I just downloaded the newest version, maybe you use a different version that uses .NET? But I would need to know how to download that.
I've been trying to install the very same version. I just now even tried the custom install version that allows you to chose where you want the app to be installed and has a slightly different version number. With that one the installer at least finished all the way through but as soon I as I go to run the app I get the same error message. Does my terminal output match yours?
