After that, it brings up a failure dialog, and (after the dialog is dismissed) crashes. If the crash dialog is enabled, it is hidden by the program's window and cannot be dismissed. With the crash dialog disabled, winedbg still cannot get a backtrace, and it's probably not interesting anyway since it happens after the failure.
