[Bug 16485] WMP is unable to play mpeg/mpg files, affects Powerpoint 2007's presentation capabilities

WMP9 can play mpg files in 1.3.31, and they can be inserted in Powerpoint 2007;
however, I had to install the 32-bit gstreamer "bad" and "ugly" plugins to get
it to work.
