Try another driver. Try NVIDIA on the same rig. If the bug is still existent - do a regression testing. http://wiki.winehq.org/RegressionTesting
I had an NVidia card before and it worked fine. I remove all the NVidia drivers and tried several ATI drivers from 2007 and the new catalyst from 2008 together with wine-0.9.57, -59, -61 and 1-rc1.
