No he uses the exact same version of (the real) wine than me (the latest one
available on gentoo, so it was 1.7.17 and now the 1.7.21).

It seems than on the wineprefix I tried to create with same options than him
that doesn't have the shop working, the only difference is corefont not
installed.
It might be responsible.
I will perform more test when I will have time and I'll tell you.
