Since I dont have this specific game I am not even trying to form a patch for

That function is missing lot of functionality.

 345      case IDCANCEL:
 346      case IDABORT:
 347      case IDRETRY:
 348      case IDIGNORE:
 349      case IDYES:
 350      case IDNO:
 351      case IDTRYAGAIN:

For example these cases don't do anything.

I quess adding something into IDCANCEL could work.
