Is this with a clean wineprefix? Which winetricks (if any) are you using? Is the error message the same as the ones you originally attached?
I just uninstalled 1.5.9 and tried it with 1.4.1 and it works on my end.
Yes. `winetricks winhttp ie8`. If I run the beta installer, I get the version check errors.
