[Bug 13755] Outcast (and sometimes Outcast Demo 1) : crashes when starting a new game because of amstream.dll

I was able to start a new game using the demo and 1.0-rc5, which ran fine for
~30 seconds, then exited as if a time limit was up. I didn't see any crash,
however.
