By any chance, do you have xaudio2 installed? 'winetricks --force xact_jun2010'
I tried the game in a 32-bit wineprefix and in WOW64 using staging 2.0-rc3 with
and without CSMT, but couldn't reproduce the problem.
The game also needs native d3dcompiler_43 and d3dx9_43.
