In Terminal, enter: cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/eMachineShop Then enter: wine emachineshop.exe A popup window appears, via X11, titled "Fix Video problems" (see attachment). It offers a button to activate software-only rendering mode. Regardless whether I select that mode or not, the software does not run any further.
