It seems to work in winecfg and mplayer -ao alsa, however it doesn't work with EVE Online. Running with WINDEBUG=+wave,+dsalsa revealed the following: trace:dsalsa:wodDsCreate driver created warn:dsalsa:wodDsCreate MMAP not supported for this device, falling back to waveout, should be harmless It's interesting that sometimes, after playing for a little and opening menus/quitting parts of phrases come thru (like Con in Connecting), always a very small fragment at a time. Looks like the audio is buffered somewhere and is not playing.
