[Bug 30695] Port Royale: graphical issues in menus and in mid game

Just would like to add that the problem doesn't exist with the open source
Nouveau driver.
Is this another problem with the proprietary Nvidia driver (similar to bug
#30269, bug #30045 and possibly others?)
