That's weird. I just tested both the demo and the retail version on 1.2-rc2
without gecko installed but both crashes the same way.

Note that I currently don't have access to the machine in the original post.
This is on current Debian sid on an Athlon X2 with NVIDIA 9600GT (proprietary
driver 195.36.24).
