[Bug 20208] Liquid Story Binder - 'z' location broken and window management issues

Although the 'z' location bug seems like a minor priority, the fact that it (or
another related issue) can cause lost work elevates it to normal in my mind. 
It's hard to convince one's wife to use the program when chapters go away at
random.
