Definitely 'MESSY'.  =)

Actually, my previous post was a little unclear.  

I needed both vcrun2008 and corefonts together to get past the page fault in
awesomium.  With only one or the other (or neither), the installer faults on
"Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x00000000 in 32-bit code
(0x10a44ae2)".
