I'm using FL Studio 2025 and have a number of old 32-bit VSTs, so I'm running into this a lot. The clunky process I've worked out from your workarounds (in case anyone else wants a short description) is: - try to add the plugin - when FL Studio hangs, open the Wine Task Manager and kill the 32-bit ilbridge.exe process - then open the Wine Registry Editor, navigate to "> Software > Image-Line > Shared > Plugins > Fruity Wrapper > Plugins > VST" - find the plugin of interest - change its BridgedExternalWindow key from 0 to 1 - click "Reload Plugin" in the Fruity Wrapper window et voila The external window isn't as convenient as an internal one (since e.g. keyboard note input doesn't work unless FL Studio has focus) but at least it works! -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
