no it doesn't here is what i did 

rm -r /home/jet/.wine
winecfg
moved my steam folder into ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/
launched steam with wine "c:/program files/steam/steam.exe"
launched dod:s from steam interface 
same error : /
