Nope, Wine won't replace the DLL you copied to system32.

FWIW, probably the best way to workaround this bug is to create a DWORD
SafeDllSearchMode registry key under
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager" and set
it to 0.
