This patch seems to help.
Confirmed, this patch definitely works. Now I can run the game and play around. Multiplayer also works which wasn't the case while using «patched» version. Thanks for your efforts!
I was so happy too when this patch worked, and a got to play Portal 2. The game works fine to the moment when the " classical music " is playing, then the game is closing. Do any one has this problem ??
