No I don't think it should be reverted, but the test and or wine should be fixed. Just removing the test doesn't help us. Does the test work on Windows with these specific fonts? Then there is some bug in Wine and/or freetype otherwise the test or the font has a bug. I'd appreciate it if somebody investigated this before 1.0 .
I sent that patch based on the fact that Dmitry is one of the main people that would be fixing any font issues. It's a bit late to set for 1.0 nomination, but let's set it for at least 1.2.
