I also confirm that using the closed source Nvidia driver and not nouveau,
resolves the problem on my system.

OS: Arch Linux x64
Kernel: 3.14.1-1-ARCH
Videocard: Nvidia Geforce 9800GT
Videocard driver: Nvidia (closed source)
Wine: 1.7.17
