I traced this back to this simple program: #include "stdafx.h" #include <Winsock2.h.> int _tmain(int argc, _TCHAR* argv[]) { int var = inet_addr(NULL); fprintf(stdout,"THis program is ok\n"); return 0; } This program returns output on windows xp console but fails on 0.9.30 wine. on wine (on ubuntu, on vmware) the debugger starts.
