Based on comment 3, this could be a duplicate of https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=25790. Could someone please test that, and mark the bug report as duplicate if this is the case?
This bug is indeed a duplicate, I tested only the application that has been put into url field (it didnt install with wine-git, complained about some stack issue, but installed fine with staging). You just need to file --> open and the program vanishes. I tested wine-staging 1.9.6 and it works.
