[Bug 43105] Fallout 3 and Skyrim crash when the Steam overlay is opened on macOS

This is not a duplicate of 46305 because this crash occurred while in-game.
46305 is a crash that occurs when the game initially loads after pressing Play
in the launcher. There is no way to tell if this bug is still an issue due to a
regression preventing getting to that point in these games, but it likely is
and this will be updated when 46305 is fixed. It is also to be determined if
this also affects Fallout: New Vegas.
