Switching back to RenderTargetLockMode readdraw allows the game to work correctly. When setting RenderTargetLockMode disabled, the intro movie doesn't display anymore, but ingame will work extremely fast. The performance is really good then. It appears there is currently a significant performance problem with GeForce FX 5500 cards and RenderTargetLockMode readtex.
