Unfortunately Winetricks just checks the file exists and assumes it's
installed.

installed_file1="$W_SYSTEM32_DLLS_WIN/mfc100.dll"

Try:

WINEDLLOVERRIDES="msvcp100,msvcr100=n" wine ~/.wine/drive_c/foo/bar/app.exe
