I too didn't see this issue since about 1-2 months ago.
Also, the Lutris Wiki[1] suggests "Use wine version 3.20 or newer" regarding
this problem -- so maybe there really was a change that fixed it (or maybe it's
just a coincidence and Battle.net fixed itself).
