Hello Sebastian,

Backtraces or "severe excptions" (Schwerer Ausnahmefehler, I don't know this
Windows term is called in English) no longer occur in 1.8-rc1 unfortunately the
games themselves won't launch so I am getting into the same issues I indicated
in bug 38495

There is a lot of progress in Origin: Updating now works just fine, browsing
the library works, buying games used to work and probably still does but
unfortunately the games themselves don't launch on my machine.
