Well, sorry about that.

I re-tested on the latest Wine 3.9 Staging (git), clean 64-bit prefix.

The application loads bit further (splash screen appears, main window shows up)
but eventually crashes on the following:

...
wine: Call from 0x7b44e623 to unimplemented function
ninput.dll.CreateInteractionContext, aborting
wine: Unimplemented function ninput.dll.CreateInteractionContext called at
address 0x7b44e623 (thread 002c), starting debugger...
...
