It is used by people with Dragon NaturallySpeaking. Connecting to a Bluetooth headset does not automatically switch into the audio stream. The user needs to go and manually configure it. Walk out of range, and Bluetooth reverts back to the default hardware configuration which is usually the laptop microphone and laptop speakers.
