Sorry it took so long for me to get to it. Unfortunately, it seems to be somewhat mangled. Perhaps you didn't use append mode (">>") when creating it. In any case, I've independently been working on a new feature for the Mac driver where it will restore the game's display mode after you Command-Tab away and then switch back. I hope that will fix the issue you're encountering. If you're able to apply a patch and build Wine from source, please give it a test.
