I am using WoW version 3.3.5 and my computer is running Ubuntu 11.04 64bit, thus PulseAudio as sound server. Steps to reproduce: 1. Switch to an unused tty console. 2. Run the following command: xinit -- :1 & ck-launch-session & (Which will create a new X Server and add sound to it) In my case, the new X Server is allocated at the tty8. 3. Start WoW. If the application starts without sound, it might work to change the Game Sound Output options around. 4. Switch back to your previous tty, e.g. tty7 5. Switch to the tty with WoW, e.g. tty8 You will notice sound has gone away. Expected results: Sound should be still playing, like if the switches were never performed.
