[Bug 21354] Ankh: inventory items replaced by squares at the top of the screen (Intel graphics)

Still present in 1.4-rc5 with Intel i915 graphics in Ubuntu Intrepid. The items
now look like square mapping textures from other graphic objects. As before,
the are ok on MacOS 10.5.8 with NVidia.
Note that you need DirectDrawRenderer=gdi nowadays because of bug #29975
