Hi, Mikel.

Is it possible it's actually Ableton own functionality that does that? Wine
itself only uses what fontconfig returns, along with windows/Fonts and fonts
wine bundles. Fontconfig will return same configuration regardless of current
directory, it's using global and local config files and global + private
directories for fonts.

Also, is there a problem even if it does scan all of this, apart from messages?
(where do they come from by the way, application log?)
